Say hello to Swifty, the new SwifTest AI chatbot

We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to our first AI-driven application within the Dimension suite. In September 2024 we went live with our context-aware, technical support assistant. Because that’s quite a mouthful, we just call her Swifty.

Swifty is our brand new, in-app chatbot, designed to help users with any questions they may have about SwifTest. Swifty is a subject-matter expert, so don’t expect her to know the answer to the meaning of life. However, if you need technical advice, test action support, or just some useful hints and tips to make the most of your investment in SwifTest, Swifty is there for you!

An in-app assistant is going to be particularly useful for new users, helping them find their way around the software and flatten the learning curve. She will also have some useful tips for more experienced users too. Swifty can call on a wealth of source material to answer your queries, from the online iLearn Academy training material to user guides, support documentation, developer notes and all the historic helpdesk tickets. Of course, she will continue to learn as she goes. Swifty is multi-lingual and will respond in the language of the query, so why not put her to the test?

Swifty is available to all SwifTest users in release 24.2.

Swifty is the first in a series of AI-driven initiatives coming your way. Over the coming months we will be introducing self-healing scripts, visual comparison testing, automatic test action creation, a deep-dive search facility and more. Watch this space.
