Dimension SwifTest Version 2025.2 Is Here!

SwifTest continues to evolve with powerful new features, deeper integrations, and smarter automation. Released on 26th August, version 2025.2 introduces more AI-driven capabilities, enhanced scheduling flexibility, and expanded support for your enterprise platform — making test creation and execution faster, smarter, and more intuitive than ever.

To showcase the latest features and functionality, we’ve highlighted six key enhancements that will streamline operations:

1. AI-Power Search Comes to SwifTest
Introducing AI Power Search — a new icon in the left-hand navigation menu enables you to choose from a list of predefined queries, click “Perform Search,” and AI provides the answers you need. This feature is available in both SwifTest and Dimension Hub.

Example: Need to find Projects with failed test executions in the last month? One click, and the results are ready. What’s more, if you want to request additional searches, we are happy to provide them.

2. AI-Driven Self-Healing in DS4E1

SwifTest now supports Self-Healing for the “Enter Form Control Value” action. If a control’s label or ID has changed, our AI will attempt to auto-correct it at test execution. Successful healing is marked with a green tick inside a green heart. Prefer manual control? You can disable Self-Healing per test.

3. Seamless TestArchitect Integration

SwifTest now works smarter with TestArchitect, our sister product for enabling testing of processes that sit outside the ERP:

  • TA scripts are now triggered only during test execution—not when the action is first added.
  • Browse for TA batch files directly—no manual entry required.
  • Results from asynchronous and synchronous TA executions are now automatically stored in the SwifTest Runtime Datastore for use in subsequent actions and Tests in Queues.

4. Smarter Scheduling

  • You can now set a Start Time against new ‘Interval’ Schedules. Queues will then run every X hours/mins but not until the nominated Start Time.
  • Schedules can now contain multiple Queues, executed in your specified order. This feature is also supported by Command Line calls to SwifTest.

5. Faster Test Building

A new Search field above the Action list helps you quickly locate the right action. This will drive faster test building and drive efficiencies across projects.

6. General Useability

  • Browser driver downloads now show progress indicators and file details.
  • Execution status is now more compact, giving you clearer visibility at a glance.

Coming Soon: Record & Capture

SwifTest will soon allow you to record user interaction directly in E1 and have those interactions automatically converted into SwifTest Actions.

Fixes & Improvements

As with any release, we’ve also ensured a number of fixes and improvements to existing functionality to futureproof the features you already know and love.

General

  • Validation message now appears when saving a repository datastore without a name.
  • Fixed an error when saving a Schedule with a “/” in the Schedule name.

JDE EnterpriseOne

  • Repository now refreshes immediately after updating a column.

Oracle Cloud Applications

  • “Set Text Area” action now reliably sets text across all field types.

SwifTest 2025.2 is a leap forward in intelligent automation and enterprise-grade testing. Whether you’re building smarter schedules, integrating external test tools, or leveraging AI to reduce maintenance, this release is designed to help you move faster—with confidence.
