As the year comes to a close, DWS is excited to announce the release of Dimension SwifTest 2025.3. A release packed with innovative features and enhancements, we’ve a whole host of updates that will ensure your testing experience is smarter, faster, and more intuitive.
With a variety of changes impacting everything from performance and UX, to quick wins around reporting, here’s everything you need to know about the new release.
1. Record & Capture: Introducing Version 1.0
DWS is proud to introduce version 1.0 of our Record & Capture functionality. Driven by AI, this new feature enables DS4E1 users to create SwifTest actions by simply using E1 as you normally would. SwifTest’s AI will automatically turn your user-actions (keystrokes, button clicks etc) into SwifTest-native test script actions.
Version 1.0 adds support for all the most common E1 user actions to enable you to quickly and easily build basic scripts, in which you can then add the ‘bells and whistles’ actions to embed loops, group actions, conditioning and other more advanced features.
Getting started is easy, simply:
- Create a new Test
- Click “Record Actions”
- Perform your process in EnterpriseOne
- Watch as your workflow transforms into DS Actions
Future releases will extend Record & Capture to other supported ERPs, including Oracle Cloud Apps and Salesforce. Plus, keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation to a short webinar in the New Year introducing this powerful functionality.
2. Dynamic AI Power Searches
Building on our AI capabilities, SwifTest now lets you create custom searches using natural language. Simply click “New Search” under AI Power Search, type your query, and receive results in natural language along with any relevant datasets.
Our AI understands the underlying schemas behind your test scripts and execution data, analyzing raw information to deliver meaningful insights.
3. Execution Summary Report
Complex scripts often include more advanced features, such as the use of Group, Looping and other parent-level actions. These scripts can generate detailed Execution Reports that span dozens of pages. While comprehensive, these reports can take time to review.
That’s why this latest release introduces the Execution Summary Report – a concise, PDF-exportable report accessed via Dimension Hub. It provides a clear tabular view of Level-1 actions and statuses, perfect for scripts with parent/group-style actions. Plus, screenshot inclusion remains configurable.
The detailed Execution Report is still available for those who prefer full visibility.
4. Performance & UX Enhancements
As always, we’ve delivered numerous technical and UI improvements across all supported ERPs. These enhancements may be subtle, but they contribute to a smoother, faster, and more intuitive experience.
We welcome your feedback and ideas – let us know how we can make SwifTest even better for you!
