NEW RELEASE: Dimension SwifTest Version 2026.1

DWS is thrilled to kick off the new season with the official release of Dimension SwifTest Version 2026.1! Packed with advanced integration features and expanded enterprise platform capabilities, this update continues our mission to make enterprise test automation faster, smarter, and more reliable than ever before.

Whether you are executing complex multi-tool test workflows, managing tests on JD Edwards or Salesforce, Version 2026.1 introduces key features designed to streamline your day-to-day operations.

Here is a look at what’s new in Version 2026.1:

1.Deeper, Dual-Directional TestArchitect Integration

Building upon our existing TestArchitect integration framework, we have introduced sophisticated data-sharing enhancements. When launching TestArchitect scripts from SwifTest, you can now seamlessly pass values from SwifTest directly into TA, and can return runtime values from TA back into the SwifTest Runtime Datastore to feed downstream test actions.

2.Expanded E1 Support: Attachment Manager & “Warnings on OK”

For our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne users, Version 2026.1 delivers new automation capabilities for the E1 Attachment Manager:

  • You can now interact with buttons directly on the Attachment Manager popup.
  • Upload Attachments: Specify local files to upload using the new “Upload Attachment” media object action.
  • Rich Text Support: Author and add rich-text attachments using the new “Upload Text Attachment” action.

Additionally, when clicking the “OK” button, handling E1 warning messages is now simpler. We have extended the “Click OK/Select” action with a smart configuration user-setting that instructs SwifTest to automatically click OK a second time if—and only if—E1 warnings are displayed, simulating a manual user ignoring warning messages.

3.Accelerated Salesforce Form & Settings Testing

Testing across Salesforce environments just got a major speed boost. In this release, we have significantly optimised the underlying performance of tests designed to fill out Salesforce forms. Furthermore, your standard “Form” actions have been extended to work natively across all Salesforce “Settings” pages.

4.Smarter Administration & Faster Reporting in Dimension Hub

As the central administrative engine for your projects and histories, the Dimension Hub receives targeted enhancements to maximise productivity and data clarity:

  • Enhanced Reporting Performance: We have increased download speeds on the Reporting page and introduced a visual loading spinner, making data extraction faster and more transparent.
  • Clean Header UX: Subscription details in the header are now neatly wrapped and accompanied by a detailed tooltip for a cleaner workspace.

 5.Enhanced Usability and Safeguards

  • AI Power Search Navigation: Finding the right script. You can now click directly on a Project name within your AI Power Search results to jump straight to that project in the Tests view.
  • Data Integrity Multi-User Protection: Working in a team? SwifTest now includes internal checks to ensure the exact sequence of test actions is strictly preserved, even if multiple users are modifying the same test simultaneously.
  • Queue Reusability in Schedules: When configuring your test execution schedules, you are now able to add the exact same queue multiple times for highly flexible scheduling structures.
  • High-Res Screenshots: Reviewing execution histories is clearer than ever, thanks to vastly improved resolution when opening screenshots directly from the Execution History list.
  • Data Consistency: To avoid confusion caused by trailing or leading spaces in names, SwifTest will now automatically strip accidental spaces from project and scenario titles upon saving.

General Corrections & Reliability Fixes

As always, this release resolves a variety of minor bugs to improve daily stability. Key fixes include correcting intermittent failures on the initial “AI Power Search” query, fixing mouse scroll-wheel issues inside the Swifty window, ensuring correct action filtering after using Log In actions, resolving errors during large Repository Datastore modifications, and resolving intermittent Salesforce date input errors.
