London, UK, March 30, 2016 – Developing World Systems (DWS) was recognized at the recent Oracle’s JD Edwards Summit in Broomfield, CO, with the 2016 Supporting Customers award. The award reflected DWS’s efforts to support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 9.2 readiness.

DWS has been gearing up for the important 9.2 release of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for more than two years. From its extensive experience of helping JD Edwards customers upgrade their EnterpriseOne systems, DWS knew that customers needed an efficient way to test their systems after the upgrade development work was complete, and developed innovative solutions to address this requirement. These solutions, Dimension Focus™ and Dimension SwifTest™, were launched at the recent Oracle OpenWorld event to coincide with Oracle’s release of EnterpriseOne 9.2.

To further help customers, DWS took part in Oracle’s beta testing program to help ensure that 9.2 was customer-ready. DWS has been involved in delivering a number of customer upgrade workshops to help customers prepare for their upgrades, and DWS has been running a series of no-charge educational webinars (online seminars). These are intended to help customers understand best practices for planning and executing their upgrades, planning and automating their testing, and then preparing to maintain a code current policy, where customers can keep their systems up to date through annual small uplifts, rather than major upgrades every several years.
